HOW TO ADD FISH INTO A TANK.

"Treat them well & watch them live amongst us..."

Have you read "How To Setup a Fish Tank | Aquarium" ? If not, STOP! Do not place your Fish in the Tank or Aquarium with Tap water. Your Fish will become stressed, causing Damage to the Natural Protective Mucous that covers their body, leaving them vulnerable to disease & Fatality.

Whats the NEXT step? The next step, after having prepared & treated the water is to purchase Fish.

Two tips when Purchasing Fish:

Buy Fish in relation to your Tank size, Fish grow.
Do not mix Aggressive fish with calm fish.

When you buy your Fish, the attendant will place them in a plastic bag filled with air. Plan to return home after buying the Fish & try not to shake the bag too much, causing the Fish to become stressed.

Now that we have our Fish at home let's begin the steps on How-to add Fish to an Aquarium.

STEP 1: Place the Bag into the Tank & leave it for 10 - 15 minutes to equalize the water temperature.

STEP 2: Use a Fish Net to remove the Fish & place them into the Tank. I do not recommend pouring the Water & Fish into the Tank.

STEP 3: Use Nutrafin Cycle Biological Filter Supplement to provide a temporary protective coating of calming herbal extracts to help the fish survive the transfer into the new Tank.

STEP 4: Observe the Temperature and Fish for the next 72 hours. Educate yourself on the visible signs an unhealthy Fish show.

Common Fish Diseases:

White Spot (Ich)
Tailrot | Finrot
Velvet Disease
Skin | Gill Flukes
Pox
Fungus
Mouth Fungus
Eye Infections
Dropsy

STEP 5: Keep the water healthy for your Fish. Initially, once the friendly bacteria in the new Tank are established, levels of Ammonia & Nitrate will be kept under control NATURALLY, unless something occurs to dramatically reducing bacteria levels.

WARNING:

Excessive Cleaning, administering too much medication will destroy friendly bacteria and lead to an imbalance environment for the Fish, causing them to become stressed.
Within the Initial 30 days, do a partial change of water every 8-10 days, adding Nutrafin Cycle & Aqua Plus to maintain the growth of friendly bacteria.
NEVER USE SOAP TO CLEAN FISH COMPONENTS, ACCESSORIES & PRODUCT.

HOW TO SETUP A FISH TANK & AQUARIUM

Do you know How-to setup a Fresh Water Fish Tank or an Aquarium?

Fish are great Pets for Children, it will help them learn Responsibility & Develop as Child. At iKIDSWORLD, we Encourage Communication & Interaction when learning. Include your Child during the process of setting up a fish Tank & Explain How-to care for the Fish & the Aquarium.

The Essential Components and Steps required prior to placing your Fish into a new Environment will be outlined below.

Fish care is the easy part... The difficult aspect, which requires a little time is building an Aquarium and maintaining a Healthy Natural Environment that is safe for your Fish.

Here is a great starter kit:

MARINA 5 Gallon Tank.
MARINA DUAL Slim Water Filtration System.
Submersible Water Heater.
Thermometer.
Fish Food.
Nutrafin Cycle Biological Filter Supplements.
Nutrafin Aqua Plus Water Conditioner.
Aquarium Test Strips.

WARNING: NEVER USE SOAP ON FISH COMPONENTS OR RELATED ITEMS. (Assuming the tank is setup with the water heater, thermometer, stones, plants, decor and filter)

STEP 1: Pour tap water into the tank slowly, prevent the floor bedding from shifting around.

STEP 2: Plug-in Water Filter, Light & Water Heater

STEP 3: Carefully Read the Instructions & Pour Nutrafin Cycle Biological Supplement.
This is a densely concentrated solution of good bacteria that helps the aquarium to mature more quickly so you can add fish after 48 hours and reducing the impact of NEW TANK SYNDROME, preventing loss of fish in the early stages of a new Tank.

STEP 4: Carefully Read the Instructions & Pour Nutrafin Aqua Plus Water Conditioner.
Because water from the tap is not safe for Fish, this water treatment helps removes the harmful chemicals in the water and also provides a temporary protective coating of calming herbal extracts until the natural mucous returns.

STEP 5: Crush and Sprinkle Fish Food to help feed the bacteria and develop in the filter.

STEP 6: After 48 hours, Test the water with an Aquarium Test Strip and use appropriate water treatment solutions to adjust & correct levels. Continue every week to maintain a healthy aquarium.
