"I Have a Dream" Martin Luther King Jr. Craftivity

I recently updated this little 'ol craft I made last year. It's a quick and easy craft that I'm sure your students will love- mine sure did!! 

We started off by reading this book. There are a TON of great books out there on Dr. King but this is my all time favorite. It tells his story in a simple way that my little ones can understand. 

We also sang this song: 

      

Then we discussed some of their dreams as we made our craftivity. 

I loved how they turned out!!

I've provided a few different options for this craft. The first image is a plain "I Love You a Latte" craft, the second image is one for Mom & Dad. 

I also separated mom/ dad if you'd like to use this craft for Mother's Day or Father's Day.

Mothers Day Flower Writing Craftivity

This past week my kiddo's worked hard on their Mother's Day Flower Writing Craftivity. I love seeing the growth in their writing and drawing at this time of the year. 27 more days until I send them off...sniff..sniff...but who's counting {wink}.
